Unfulfilled Desire - 'I WISH I WAS A CHILD' | TRACING CHARMS

 Do you miss anything? Say, a stage in your life which you wanna relive. Well, in my case, I do. I want to become a child again. When I had no worries. When I used to always be happy without any reason. But what I miss the most is that I could demand with all might and, I was able to get them fulfilled. With all these things I miss, I ended up writing a poem. So here we go!

UNFULFILLED DESIRE

I wish I was a child,

This day to day life gets me tired.

Without worries, I could play all day,

I always crave that paradise bay.

That naiveness I miss,

My life as a child was always full of bliss.

I remember myself as a pampered baby,

Those wonderful memories sometimes make me go crazy.

I miss being spoon-fed,

Those bedtime stories Mumma read,

Those melodious lullabies,

Without them, life's all dry.

'I wish I was a child again.'

This wish will forever remain.
